Our beads are naturally crafted using a four step process, following traditional Korean medicine (“Hwan”) methods that date back over 400 years:

  1. 19 organic vegetables, herbs and fruits are harvested 
  2. These ingredients are dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve nutritional value 
  3. Dehydrated ingredients are ground into a fine powder
  4. Organic honey is added to bond the powder into small beads

Dolboda Hwan Beads are made to order in Jinju, South Korea, in limited quantities. By not producing ahead of time, none of our products sit in a warehouse, waiting to be sold or thrown out. Instead, by producing in batches, we can ensure only the freshest ingredients are used, and we don’t waste fruits and vegetables that could otherwise feed local communities. This also helps us bring prices down, as we don’t buy more ingredients than we need.

By placing your order before the next batch is produced, you help us work with local farmers to source enough fresh fruits and vegetables.

Under normal conditions, you will receive your Dolboda Hwan Beads within 2 weeks of placing your Harvest Deposit.
